Fantasy Portfolio update / BIG OPTION PLAYS I’d trade my life on – AAPL, GOOG, PCLN

It’s too bad Yahoo! Fantasy Finance doesn’t let you short or trade options on stocks in your portfolio. I’m currently up 14%. Nothing to brag about compared to leaders supposedly with up to 150% gains in the past 30 days. I don’t know how they are doing it but I can only assume they are trading penny stocks or stocks only under $2.

See shot:

Some BIG OPTION PLAYS I’d trade my life on which I think at the moment are definite risk/reward worthy are put option trades on AAPL, GOOG, and PCLN. They have been trending down for the week 5-20% off their highs. I’ve been waiting and waiting for some big institutional sellers/investors to start taking some profits and selling. I believe this is finally happening as stock analysts re-think Apple. I think it’s run up with Google and Priceline are currently in a stock value correction. The company’s have moved up so quickly a stock correction was bound to happen. Now I’d trade my life on a definite ongoing correction probably another 10%. However, from experience, this could also be a quick buying/selling opportunity. Whenever a high talked about stock like Apple falls 20 points as it did today then next morning it can have a volatile swing upwards confusing any type of trader. So a correct entry point is crucial and very short-term trading profits are important – meaning if I was going to trade puts on any of these companies once I’m up 50-100% in a day on a contract it would be smartest to get out and just get in/out when the timing looks right on technical charts and watch how investors are reacting/how news is changing.

Even with the stocks hit hard today I can bet they will actually be positive tomorrow.
However I feel a put trade over 1 month will have definite positive results. Since I have no money in my account. I will trade as if I only have $2000 for each option. (A total of a $6000 account).

Here are my 3 BIG OPTION PRACTICE PLAYS on AAPL, GOOG, PCLN.
Bought end of close 4/16/12

AAPL 555 MAY PUT @ $20.44 (This is the closest to in-the-money I can buy – although way out of the money with only having $2k towards trade however this option is moving fast with big swings).

GOOG 610 MAY PUT @ $19.40 (Surprisingly, GOOG is higher and I can buy in-the-money puts for $2k)

PCLN 655 MAY PUT @ $20.50 (Closer to AAPL’s option pricing – out-of-the money with $2k trade)

Very short-term such as the next 1-2 days I expect the stocks to pop up, however if I’m right on trending and more importantly – FEAR of losing money for many holders – the stocks should continue a down trend and the more that sell the sharper the decline until a big guy steps in and stops it buying back changing direction – a new market correction. So check back in a week for a post update on this practice trade.

Dow continues to rise. SWN up 10% after earnings – Nov 10′, Gold on the rise

SWN @ $36 is up 10% since earnings and moving with the Dow and strong trends of gas prices going up. It has a huge reserve keeping the company profitable. The Dow continues to rise even though fairs of inflation continue to rise with the U.S. dollar weakening. GOOG and AAPL I feel are also getting a boost. I continually see more ipads being used in the NYC subway. For around every 20 riders I see someone holding an ipad and 15 others wearing ipods and around 10 of those holding iphones. Apple Inc. is definitely still in growth saturating the market and has a mighty fan base. Current I’ve been following Gold also at 1391 ounce. I joined My Gold Rush USA, a gold home based business opportunity, where you can get 10% of gold American Eagle Coins. That is kind of a big deal when you think of a discount of 10% on $1445 an ounce for American Eagle coins that is $144.50 in gold discount. For more information on getting these coins at a discount check out My Gold Rush USA.

wow the market is moving – reversal candles, crammer’s big mouth is right

I haven’t even looked at my charts for almost a month now and I can already visualize in my mind what is happening. First I can see one big bullish candle down and a second big bullish candle parallel to the down candle. This creates a tunnel/sandwhich like effect that for the most part is rare and shows a change in buying/selling.

More surprisingly HOKU under $8 has not been moving at all and just has fell instead of move like big stocks FSLR which currently just swings up and down 10-20 pts a day it seems like. I’m going to have to make one big journal entry about all these big moves and economic policy decisions going on plus what happens to Bear Sterns (BSC). Wow. I would have never of thought that company would of feel to just $3 and get bought out by JPM for only $200 million dollars. Any billionaire status entrepreneur right now can almost buy a mega company cheap that is in trouble. I’m surprised Bill Gates with Microsoft isn’t buying everything up to dominate and monopolize on the market place.

AAPL through all of these hard moves has actually been pretty supportive in the 120’s so this just might becomes its 52 week low for the following year and finally move past $200 for good unless a stocksplit happens by Steve Jobs by surprise.

I’m seeing huge moves happen daily during one of the most hardest times to trade. I have to admit its very lucrative in daily plays, but would be very dangerous staying in a trade no longer then 1 day right now due to the extremely swingy choppy markets. I don’t think our market has hit the bottom that fast. Home sellers are still having problems selling their homes and consumers are still resisting buying and starting to talk again about how risky the market is to buy stocks. This is not bullish talk in my opinion from people who create the profits to drive stocks up.

Living on the boat has been swell. I’m about out of money to fix the boat. Other boat owners have suggested just living in it and doing nothing to it. I’d really like to sail it and go on trips, but it needs a LOT of work to be seaworthy. So I guess I’ll see how far I get with what I can pay for and do to the boat.

new stock chart trends updated (right – CHART TRENDS)

I’ve uploaded about 20 of the stocks I watch daily, where the trend I think it is going, and commentary on the chart for my reference to see if I was right or wrong for future new charts.

charts updated: (put curser over chart picture and it will give name of stock)
aapl, atvi, rimm, goog, bidu, fxi, dks, hans, hoku, rig, swn, inp, ttm, ma, c, and more.

new trend chart technical analysis for January 11, 2008 stocks

I’ve got the time to upload some new trend charts I’m studying to see them just click on the flickr trend picture column or click here to see my flickr page of all my trend charts.

trend charts include: AAPL, ATVI, C, DKS, FXI, HOKU, HANS, MA, INP, TTM, YHOO, GOOG, RIG, SWN, RIMM

check out INP. I’ve seen this stock go from $48 to now $112. Like FXI I think it still has much room to grow with small downs and big moves up with India’s major growth. I believe TTM will start to follow india stocks with its new plan for $2500 car.

check out AAPL. will it get support at current price levels ($172)? major trend will be breached soon if Mac Expo 08′ and earning on january 18th do not give investors reasons to keep charging the stock up. If you look at any other tech stock right now BIDU, GOOG, RIMM charts show in favor of major downtrend to form if negative opinions continue on the economy.

btw – only 70 pages left of Alan Greenspans book! great book and very insightful.

Choppy fall markets continue with late day sell offs and rollercoasters!

So I’m in San Diego, CA on my north patrol portal. This is my first of many I suppose if our boat keeps working. The stock market has been ruff as usually simular to Alaska waters. I uploaded many technical analysis on stocks charts so be sure to see them (flickr pics on right side).

So I’m thinking after looking at many charts that the markets trend is still going down.

My practice option trading would go something like this: [short term plays]

BUYING CALLS on:
Southwestern Energy Company (SWN @ $49) – hitting bottom BB’s with strong trend up with raising oil prices increasing more popularity for energy to increase.
GameStop Co. (GME @ $51) – following strong uptrend and has been sold off even though it is the number one electronics game retailer. Every kid, teenager, and dad goes to this store to buy new and used games. It’s hot, and going into christmas its sales should increasingly rise.

BUYING PUTS on:
Apple Inc. (AAPL @ $172) – Hot product, high price, but currently tech and the entire market makes this stock so vulnerable to any move and I think the next move will be down.
Sears Holding Co. (SHLD @ $107) – Super company, lowering peg, but it seems retail just isn’t the industry to be buying in at the moment. Big downtrends and probably will see lower prices before buying happens.
Macy’s (M @ $28) – Again. Mega store everyone knows, but not in the buying club at the moment. Is anything? Low peg, lots of value, but no buying into it.
Goldman Sachs (GS @ $207) – This financial stock even though has losses is one of the better value you ones that won’t be held down for too long. Low peg of .70, low PE, but the banking stocks are just in crutches. The only banking stock I think should outperform all the others besides losses is Bearsterns (BSC @ $91) because its book/price is $86. I think it will keep bouncing off this support price. Peg currently at 1.06. I think this is the best play if buying CALLS. BSC will be the first to back to its highs, at least I think.
Citigroup (C @ $31) – This stock is going to its grave in my opinion. Mega huge banking system that I feel hasn’t got credit for the billions it has lost yet. But nothing can beat Country Wide financial (CFC @ $8) – This thing is going to $1 in my opinion. Mega PUT stock. You could probably get rich playing PUTS on it if you were smart and had money left to trade.
Google (GOOG @ $666) – Note the price! Scary huh? Stock charts show GOOG flipping over and about to be sold, at least short term. Peg is 1.26 not bad for a $600 stock which really says something, its going higher!
Nutri Systems Inc (NTRI @ $25) – This stock just has big pops (big white canldes) and then tanks. Sell offs. Funny thing is that its peg is like only .36 or something right now. IF IF IF it proves still to have good growth next quarter this stock is going to jump probably 30-50% in one day. Sounds crazy, but I could see it happening being sold off like an ugly stock now, but it is also getting all these lawsuit cases which probably isn’t helping publicity to want to buy it either.
Mastercard (MA @ $181) – Hot stock, super product. They basically just make millions a day off dumb consumers spending credit cards and never paying them off. I’m really not sorry if you are one of them. You have a choice, which is why this stock is going higher, but in the mean time it looks like it is being sold off some.
Ocean Outrigger (RIG @ $129) – RIG looks ready to fall some. Major growth and long-term CALL play in my opinion with rising oil prices.
Dicks Sporting Goods (DKS @ $30) – recent +7% just went to 0%. Falling charts makes this a short-term PUT play. Lots of Tv advertising you should be noticing especially on ESPN. They want to be a number one sports retailer and they are doing the right things to get there and stay there for a while.
China International Index Fund (FXI @ $168) – This stock has been falling and will continue to with the markets/asia markets. Charts show more selling coming.

whiped out! – starting off with $1000 again – i got a poised Apple!

Well…Here I am starting at $1000 again. The only stock that didn’t go down on me was my spicy pickle franchising stock. It’s down -$200, but nothing compared to my Nov MSFT and AAPL out of the money options. I was totally whiped out and I mean clean. Oh well. It is just money right? I definitely should of been watching the Nas and Djia which I didn’t realize were trending down until my older sister told me why she thought the market was going down. It came to me so unexpected, but I guess I should of expected the exception happening. I’ve been heavily deep into watching technology industry charts that this sudden crash just got me. I’ve already taken $1000 to $10,000 many times so I’m pretty confident I can do it again with the market falling so hard playing some Puts and then waiting for it to stop and play call options on AAPL and RIMM all the way back up to their 52 week high’s. Apple (AAPL currently at $156!) is still a great company with everything going for it. New awesome sleek products going into international markets and selling many iPhones its new product everyone wants. Oh, and did I say christmas and iPods? I have good reason for it to go back up in price after tech has been sold off but it will be a little while before that happens. I find analyst are suddenly bearish on Google (GOOG @ $642!). Why? This stock is major growth power and low peg of 1.30. If GOOG drops to the $600’s which it probably will with a PEG near 1.00 that stock will become a major buying opportunity. It is just too bad options cost so dang much. I probably could only afford way out of the money for $1000. I’m still rooting on Apple.

So because of this disaster. I’ve lost my total account basically around $26,000 within 1 week when stocks started to fall after dumb Cisco’s report (CSCO). I definitely should of just took out my winnings and paid off some crap or bought another house. I guess I keep learning the hard way. It isn’t easy being so risky sometimes. I will not be able to buy off my note for $35,000.

A person just gave me another offer of $105,000 for my single family home so I’m going to take it. That will give me a $35,000 profit after owning it/renting it out for almost 3 years. So this will go as my down payment through a 1031 tax exchange for the bigger mobile home park for $190,000. I ending mortgage was around $58,000 so after all the costs I should have at least I hope $40,000 applied to the commercial mortgage. I could also of refinanced my current mortgage, kept the incoming rent of $725/month, and took out an equity loan of around $50,000 for the down payment on another 20-30 year note. This was also an option, but I figured if I only have to worry about 1 payment at a time this is better even though my currenter is pretty good about making all her payments. So now I will have to mobile home park mortgages. My first park in Savannah is getting there. We are finally getting some better renters and hopefully I will get it fully rented earning around $2000/month which is my goal. As for the second park my goal is to keep the gross at around $4500. After all bills I want to be earning at least a net profit of $24,000 year. So no matter what I’ll have a decent income even if I have not made consistant money in the stock market. I think my goal now is to just pay off my real estate so the cashflow will get higher.

As for the stock market. Well I’m all in with $1000 as soon as I find the right play.

AAPL OCT 170 CALLS sold out up +25%, GOOG earnings

Okay so to finish from a few days ago I bought AAPL calls going up and I was sold out the falling morning for $2.60 up 25%. I wanted to trade into GOOG earnings, but with a small amount so I only traded $1000. Again I was probably being too greedy. I could only buy 1 contract and I did at $10 for GOOG NOV 690 CALLS, but I should of put my GTC order at $11.50 or $12 at the most. Early morning trading the next day the option only went up to $12.60 so if I only put it up a dollar or more I would of been sold out with a 10% profit. I put my GTC order at $15 because I thought GOOG which his $658 would of rose $5 since I was closer to in the money, but I was wrong. I also slept it! I put my alarm for 3:30 AM to get up right when the market opened so I could sell out, but I slepted in an hour and that cost me $300. I sold out at $7 with a $300 loss. I’m actually happy I loss only $300 because if I would of stayed in I’d lost a bit more. This is what is confusing: I bought my option when GOOG was at $639, but my option fell $3 dollars even when in the next morning it was up $9. You’d think my option would of went up with the stock instead of fell. How is this possible? I figured it had to do something with expiration Friday for options. My call option fell $3 even thought GOOG’s stock went up and held at $9 so like $648. I don’t know why my option fell so much but it did. I think for now on I’m not going to buy calls near expiration Friday. They must adjust the price or something. Anyway GOOG earnings should help the stock rise. The Dow drop of -$366 pts is termporary and I definitely expect Monday or Tuesday next week to have a pop and push the market higher after this big pull back.

Stocks I’ve been keeping a close eye on are FXI, GOOG, AAPL, NUE, SHLD, RIG
FXI is due for a correction with the asian markets. Just recently it has fell 18 pts within a week. If it breaks its major trend I might buy a crap load of Puts on it. AAPL’s earnings are OCT 24th and I might play Puts on it because historically Apple during earnings falls every time.
With NUE steel is starting a strong uptrend helped by X. SHLD is just very volatile and I’m looking for entry points since it is going sideways now. Lastly RIG had a peg of .41 does anyone know this? This stock has continually gone up its trend and if does at $112 it will start bouncing back up again to a higher price.

Market falls on a Monday – big earnings week

Surprisingly the market fell hard today steadily throughout the day. With the market going against the sell off on Thursday I figured it would continually go up throughout the weekend, but this was not the case. Google (GOOG @ 620) fell with major search engine Bidu (BIDU @ 334). I see good buying opportunities with a possible pop tomorrow since at the end of the day there was a quick late buying interest. If you saw Apple Inc. it spiked straight up the last 30 minutes with “3 white soldiers”. I’m playing a small position in AAPL OCT 07 170 Calls @ 2.06 and I have my GTC order at $2.60 which would make me a 25% ROI if I’m sold out tomorrow morning. If AAPL doesn’t move I’m going to sell myself out of the position.

This week will hold Google earnings. The king of Tech in my opinionGOOG is the stock to be watching because its growth has been huge each year. For the past two years GOOG jumped 30 points during Oct earnings release. I plan to trade only a $500 trade right before close of the earnings annoucement on Oct 18th.

As for dating life. I think this new girl I’m interested in works more then I do and that is a problem. It is great to see such a productive person, but I don’t know when we would ever have time to see each other.

My roommates plan on adding an additional 4th person to our 1 bedroom apartment. Yes, you heard me right. Four people in this tiny 1 bedroom. Currently I’m the only one working. They are getting annoying playing video games and drinking 40’s. I do not know how much longer I will last, but since I’m leaving on patrol again for a few months I can deal plus rent will only be 200-300/month or I could just move all my shit out again which is what I’m thinking I just might do instead and pay $125 in storage fees.

Last thing taking 3 classes, doing stock stuff, trying to meet ladies, living with 2 other guys cramped in a small apartment, and on top of that finding free time has started to add up. Did I also mention trying to buy this second park while my first one is about to become what I can an “end” investment. If I’m unable to rent this place I will take it as a lost and practically give it way because I’m not going to let it turn into a negative cashflow business which it currently is. I’m not giving up on it yet, but I told the property manager if we can get it fully rented by Dec 07 then I’m going to have to shut the entire park down and put it up for sale. I have a feeling this week is going to be a very tiresome week. Big money comes with big stress when theres no one to help you relax…

Google (GOOG) @ $437 profited me $15,000 in 5 days off near month call options

Last week was an excellent week. My art was together doing its thing. The day I told myself I would sell out my profit went up to + $20,000, but I was at a major disadvantage because I had no phone to call my broker nor internet to sell out. I finally did get to sell out of my Nov and Oct 07 670 call options both well over 100% ROI in less than 5 days market days. I told myself I’d sit back now before jumping into a new trade. I might take a tiny bit of my profits such as $500 to go through GOOG earnings on Oct 18, 2007. The past 2 years GOOG jumped around $30 if it reported good results so if it was another good year my options should sell out the day of earnings profitably.

My eyes are back on Apple Inc. (AAPL @ $167). I think it has finally maken up its mind to start “moving” again. It is definitely capitalizing in on the iPhone and its monopoly. I am seeing more and more iPhones in peoples hands and personally I want one too! I currently have a Nano iPod and enjoy it very much without any problems. Earnings should be stellar with Apple also taking over the computer market currently staking a 25% stake in the share of all computers sold. Apple is hot right now. I’d like to be options and see it go to $200 price target. This may happen at its next expo in January of 2008.

Lastly the only other company I’m interested in is Sears Holding Company (SHLD @ $142) the retail sales reports scared the stock some, but many factors are coming into play to force the stock up going into major retail selling season. Historically on charts it doesn’t move much after mid-November it looks so I don’t know how much a play SHLD will be, but I will watch it for a trade.

The lady I’ve been interested in is awesome, but I don’t think she is interested in me. Maybe the friend deal? Lame. I got to dance with her at Octoberfest here in Honolulu. I had a blast and wish I could do more with her. I did send her flowers and she loved them for sure. I guess only time will tell if I have a fighting chance at her heart.

As for my trailor park my new manager is doing a great job and I plan to buy some new trailers on the lots to rent out more. The second park is still waiting for appraisals and contracts to be done. I bought a residential lot near Austin, TX for $1000. Its right in a major new and upcoming community with tons of golf courses. If I do retire is that what retired people do? Play golf all the time?

After watching Michael Moore’s “Sicko” I think I’m going to also buy land in Canada, France, and Cuba since the healthcare seems to be great and Cuba buying up Peso’s could be a great investment long-term.

Reading my stock market diary exactly 1 year ago…

Flipping through my market diary I find that many of my stock picks I follow are up around $20-30 pts or 25-40% in price. Specifically AAPL, NTRI, BA, GOOG, SWN, TGT, GME, FXI, and many others. I’m hoping to use some of my diary to get some excellent plays in coming this fall. The stock market has really been rising with todays big increase in the Dow Jones I wonder when the market will flip. Last year at this time oil was hitting highs of $76/BBL and currently we are around $71 from where it dipped at $61. Most of these stocks still have a low PEG score with low P/E. I’m curious if we will have a high priced stock market in the next year or two where we will see the majority of stocks priced over $200 including stocks not supposed to be priced that high which will eventually fall the hardest again.

Currently I’m checking out another real estate deal since this 5-unit apartment building fell through because the seller would not communicate with me so I could get escrow and my mortgage lender setup correctly to buy it. Another property I put on hold was a hotel unit for sale where the hotel pays you X dollars upfront for leasing it from you for 2 years giving you guaranteed rent up to 4 years then your unit goes in a pool to rent out and you collect from that. It is on the Hilton Head Island, GA. It is suppose to be a premier spot in the south east coast so I’m going to do some research on it. It costs $249,000 with a 10% down payment and I’d get back my closing costs plus another $30,000 with in 2 years of closing if I leased it to to the hotel company. But after the 2-4 years I’d be forced to put it into the pool to rent out and unless the hotel shows full occupancy 6-9 months out of the year long-term it might not be a good deal. I would earn $50,000 back in two years which would pay for my student loan of $40,000. It would produce $700/month cash flow if rented full occupancy 12 months a year. I’m going to discuss it with the seller today and think out my options. Even if I made $300/month continually after the 2-4 years it would still be a great secure cashflow.

Besides money life I went to check out a new room to rent and met two cools girls. I ended up not renting the room but asking one of the women out to breakfast and got a “yes”. I didn’t think it would be so easy. So luckily this saturday morning date will be a lot of fun. I’ve never asked out a girl on a date by checking out rooms for rent, but hey nerds theres an idea.

Is the market tired and ready for a nose bleed?

Today most stocks started to show some big red candles engulfing the previous days gains. Most international stocks and indexes, expecially Asia, fell over night. I predict the stocks might rise higher tomorrow, but continue to fall for a few days and then continue their rally since they have been bullishly buying buying buying for the past weeks. One index expecially which has had a second big move is China Index fund (FXI @ $109) currently has had a run from low $80’s to recently $110’s. With the large lower opening price today I think there will be some selling off of some profits during this earning season. I recently bought MAY 105 PUTS. If I’m right I should be sold out by Tuesday April 25. If I’m wrong I’m finished trading stocks for the year. The trade looked very clear and I’m determined that all the indicators and general market is in my favor even with Google.com’s (GOOG @ $471 – after earnings $481) surging profit beating analyst expectations. The overal market has had a good run up and even though I’d like all my stocks to fly high I know its about time for some hard selling. So far economic retail sales and non changing interest rates have made market condition good for bulls and earnings haven’t been so bad either. I think Yahoo.com’s earnings (YHOO @ $27.80) even though were lower the stock will rise because of its real solid value.

Recently my portfolio has been a smelly dump of losers sucking ever profit from me dry. My goal is now to repeatedly play stocks that are profiting me in the correct direction and increase my portfolio to a new high. My account is currently worth around $16,000 down from around $38,000 just since mid Feburary. What I did wrong was get into position and trade after a big win. This I already knew not to do. It’s a general big rule to follow, but I guess the increased account got the best of me. I’m still up for the year maybe + $5000, but I suppose feeling a bit miserable and disfunctional at the moment.

I have not bought Bigstring.com (BSGC.OB @ $.38) because on QCharts it shows buying movement, but it looks like the stock is going to settle a little lower before it moves again so I’m going to wait to buy a large amount of shares. If it does move higher then the public has gained interest and then that will be enough cue for me to know its the right time to invest in it. It maybe be struggling currently, but it is a very new type of email service that I think the trendy crowd will really jump into which will mean big money for the company advertising big names on email accounts.

The Google monster gobbles another insect company up!

Google Inc. (GOOG @ $466) as you should know put in a bid for $3.1 billion for Double Click which could help increase the companies growth and monster advertising machine. GOOG is recently priced way below its target of the $550 price range and its PEG score is trading about under 1.00 which most analyst would consider it a bargain stock. Last year GOOG’s earnings were great and the stock sky rocketed up 35 pts and within 4 days dropped almost 40 pts. What does this mean? Maybe much of the stock price was already amped up into earnings and the stock price did reflect the earnings data which made the stock hype immediately start selling off. GOOG is the #1 tech/internet stock for the past 3 years. Although I can currently see the price steadily moving up with a strong trend I also feel GOOG will be hit the hardest when the next fly-by-night tech/.com’s come again. It isn’t like GOOG isn’t worth $466 and it does have billions in cash so it isn’t going bankrupt any time soon. Google is also doing the right things as a growing company to keep market share, sustain growth, and be around a very long time. But when the market does turn (maybe this summer?) I think GOOG is going to be hit hard again down to the low $400’s to possible $350’s to shoot back up to over $500 when the real investors step in that will drive the price back up. Also recently Google.com is starting to create a more personalized look for users like Yahoo.com uses. In away I think this is a bad idea, but also it could help generate more revenue for the giant if yahoo.com users would switch entirely to google.com if google.com gave that personalized web-home experience.

Earnings this week have been good so far expecially with McDonalds (non-tech) MCD @ $48. I previous said around 5 months back that MCD was a buy @ $43. MCD has steadily moved up the charts and showing positive growth for the giant franchise real estate/fastfood company.

Earnings I’m anxious to hear about is GRMN, AAPL, GOOG, BA, NTRI, and RIMM recently we already know increased profits. Bad news for AAPL that again they are delaying their new software Leopard and iPhone. I already know of many people ready to buy the iPhone regardless of price young and old. It is going to be a success. I hope they fix ANY and ALL bugs with it before it becomes internationally distributed. I know a select amount of individuals that do have ongoing problems with their iPods crashing or freezing and for the most part Apple had worked to satisfy those customers head on. Another company to look at for is Sears Holding Co. (SHLD) for retail sales outlook. Luxury retailers have been doing well again this year too. Many economists say the market will be a volatile choppy one and so far the waves have been pretty large. Look at NYX with it trading over 100 then down to 80 then back to 100 again. I’d consider that a sweet trade if I’d only focused on it. My concentration has been rather off the past 6 months and I need to get back into just focusing on stocks I previous traded before that I know much more about.

So far this year I’ve definitely ventured off into the hard rocky dangerous path by choice. It has helped my increase my goals faster, but also has worsened my ethics and rules for proper trading to live a long traders life. I’m slowly crippling myself the way I am trading and if I don’t start really pushing healthier trading habits I will die.

GOOG up 14 pts – technical chart was right

Today the entire market rose with GOOG up 14 pts. After looking at my charts yesterday I was right about Google.com short term down correction about to make a move up after yesterdays two white candle reversals. Jones Soda Co. (JSDA @ 23.50) moves up another 5% as well. There are no options on JSDA so I will be on the sideslines of this one since I’m in too many trades at the money (bad). Its up already 15-40% in the last 3 weeks. Some stocks when they are on a roll the momentum will just keep pushing them up. I guess its smart to say as long as your stock is going in the direction you want it to and there is no other factors to change its momentum then you can play it pretty safe. Look at GOOG. When it moves it usually moves fast and many points in one direction. I’ve gotten in it before already up 16 pts just to go up another 10 pts and make me a fat profit the following day. I suppose that is when you really need to get some balls (excuse me ladies) to buy and sell your stock.

Meanwhile NYX is following its uptrend. BA still sits at $89 and NTRI moves slightly at $53.25.

Current stock market conditions + NTRI, JSDA, GOOG

For the first trading day of April stocks are up probably from fund managers buying them up, but on 233min, Daily, and Weekly charts I don’t see any stock trades. It almost looks as if stocks are starting to turn over to fall or have a bearish rally. The two stocks that come out that do show a continuing uptrend are NTRI @ $53 and JSDA @ $22. Jones Soda Inc (JSDA) is currently up 10% so I’d wait to buy into this “hot stock” at the moment. To read more on it check this out. It is being compared to Hansen Inc. (HANS @ $38) to be the next big beverage profit machine. Google (GOOG @ $456) looks like it is turning over on the Daily chart, but the 233min chart shows it has been sold off and possible ready for its next run. As you see in the 55 minute chart below it shows GOOG being sold off for the past 7 days and today created two white soldiers that broke the short-term trend down. Possibly tomorrow we might see a large spread.

I sold out of my NTRI JUL 50 CALLS today for a 30% profit in 1 month holding the option. It was a bad trade, I’m actually in a crap load of bad option plays, I should of waited and not bought into any position in the current market condition. So now I’m in a bind to slowly wait for stocks to swing in my favor to sell out at breaking even or profitable. For instance my BA APR 95 CALLS are definitely not going the way I thought Boeing Co. would move. It has already received around 5-7 big orders and the stock, although moved to $91, has not reflected all the positive news that will boost its earnings and increase its capital. BA sits at $89 pissing me off. I feel my option will run worthless and then in June its bullish historial run will happen so I definitely got in to early unless I am “lucky” this month to get a quick big run to sell me out of my position profitably. BA does look like it is at its low for its stock trend going up and down so it might have a run soon. Another option I bought NYX SEP 115 CALLS stock went down to $82 now back up to $97 talk about major loss. Again, if I would of waited for a better play I could of bought it way low and made a small fortune within a months time. Lessons I suppose you can only learn from losing money and trading during times you should be waiting on the sidelines of the field anxious to play. I do have a lot of time left in the CALL, but once it hits $105 I should be sold out + 100% though I could of been up around +500% if I waited to buy when there was a true reversal in momentum.

As for my two penny stocks CCNG.OB and WTVI.PK. They are doing what penny stocks do basically blow up and die. Although both companies are following through with their plans, gorwing their business, what they aren’t doing is growing investors confidence. both positions are down -50 to -75% and I’m not happy and will have to wait much longer to profit once they have respectable moves if they make any real money to surprise new investors to buy their stock. I plan to rebuy both CCNG.OB at the .0001 level. Recently a stock trader has mentioned ETIM.PK and its pretty funny that a company is selling “collectable casket/urns” nonetheless people actually do but crazy stuff for pets expecially. I liked the website and I’ll have to review more. People do die everyday and so do pets with limited lifespans so I could see how it could be a profitable business even when your “core” customers die too!

Yahoo! CEO excited with results from web search advertising system.

Yahoo! CEO Terry Semel is smiling over Yahoo!’s new web search advertising system they have been working on. If the CEO is very happy and the ad revenue growth is increasing weekly then I think YHOO will be a definitely CALL option choice going into earnings. This CEO sounds really happy and you don’t hear about many very happy CEO’s these days on the stock market. The CEO quotes that this new web search advertising is simular’s to Google’s. That being said with YHOO growth being stagnet for the past couple of years this could really push its stock much higher like GOOG if YHOO could show mega growth with increased revenue from better search results with web users clicking on better results. YHOO is currently trading around $30. Could we see YHOO goto $100? $200? $500?

Recently NYX is starting to receive profitable reviews. It recently went up 3% and currently trading at $88. GOOG this week moved 15pts and is at $461. It has bounced twice off $440 support price and moved higher sideways.
